Outrigger on the Lagoon

The Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji has 254 guestrooms and bures scattered in four-storey blocks or individual bures throughout the gardens. A large lagoon-style swimming pool and adjacent spa tub are complemented by a private beach with numerous complimentary water sports. Other sports facilities include a driving range and putting green, tennis courts, a fitness centre, table tennis, and volleyball. There is also a complimentary kids’ club with playground. A shopping arcade has a variety of shops selling jewellery, handicrafts, resort wear, perfumes and sundry items. There are coin-operated laundries for guest use.

Self parking: Complimentary parking is available in an outdoor parking lot adjacent to the hotel.

Conference/function room(s): The Reef 1 and Reef 2 rooms are each 113 square metres (1216 square feet), hosting 30 in theatre style or 60 in banquet style. They can be joined to form one large space, and adjoin a covered veranda and open-air terrace of 170 square metres (1829 square feet). Themed events are a speciality. There is also a boardroom seating ten people.

Facilities: Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji has a complimentary kids’ club divided into two groups by age. The Little Riggers accepts children aged three to seven years, and the Beach Riggers children aged eight to 12 years. The fully fenced club has a playground, sandpit and classroom with television, video and games. There is a wide range of activities and cultural programmes, as well as excursions. Activities include sing-alongs, cab racing, colouring, fish feeding, sports, treasure hunts and talent contests.

Equipment: Infant beds, strollers, high chairs, and other amenities are available on a complimentary basis, etc. All special requests should be made prior to arrival and are subject to availability.

Guestrooms at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji have either a patio or balcony, with views over the resort gardens or ocean. Each has either a king bed with sofa bed, or two double beds. There is both air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Desks have telephones, lamps and broadband Internet access, which costs FJ$1.15 (AU$0.90) per minute to a maximum of FJ$38 (AU$29) in 24 hours. Cable/satellite televisions offer channels such as Australia Network, BBC, CNN, National Geographic, and Sky channels. Refrigerators offer complimentary bottled water, with minibar items on request. There are tea/coffee kettles and coffee plungers. Other amenities include irons and ironing boards, laptop-size safes, full-length mirrors and hair dryers. Bathrooms have separately enclosed toilets.
